A stage of my life

Imagen
Hi everybody! Today I will tell you a little about a stage of my life... At the age of 11 with my family we went to live in the city of Copiapó, located in the region of Atacama (northern boy of Chile). The truth is that it was quite sad for me, because going to live in another city (so far from Santiago) meant leaving my grandparents, my aunts, my cousins and my friends!!!!  For me, this was all terrible because I would have to adapt to a new city, I had to change schools. Having to change schools caused me a lot of distress because I am a person who has a hard time socializing, besides throughout my life I had already changed schools 4 times!! and at the last school (Pehuén school) I had made a very nice link with my colleagues, it was the only school in which I had integrated very easily and very well. The truth is that that summer I had a very bad time imagining what that new school was going to be like and what my new classmates were going to be like and aaah ever

An important ceremony

Hello everyone, I hope you are very well... Today I will tell you about a very important celebration: the We Tripantu. The We Tripantu is a Mapuche celebration in which the beginning of a new year is celebrated, takes place every June 21, with the winter solstice and the longest night of the year. This date is sacred to the Mapuche world, in it, thanks and honors Mother Nature for the end of the annual cycle of the earth and the beginning of a new year. The beginning of the new year is determined by the return of the sun on the winter solstice. In the Mapuche belief the sun is the main engine of life and has a life cycle: it is born at the beginning of winter, grows in spring, is adult in summer and is old in autumn (when the leaves of the trees fall and the fur of the animals changes). The importance of the celebration is that it marks the beginning of the rainy season and the rebirth of nature, the harvest season ends and a new period for agriculture begins. This celebratio

The best Vacation ever

Hi guys, today I’m going to tell you about the best vacation ever. When I was in my Junior year at high school with my grade we decided to go on a trip to visit the south of Chile and the city of Bariloche. Planning the trip caused many conflict between us and took a lot time to make the decision. Even so, we managed the situation and we were able to make the best choice and we have a wonderful time togheter. Money was a theme for us, it was hard to get to have enough money to pay the trip, we had to sell a lot, specially “completos” (hotdogs), with that we were able to financial support a big part of the trip.  We started our tour in January 13rd, 2018. We spend a whole day on the highway until we made it to Bariloche (the day became short because we were listening to music, singing, playing and above all laughing a lot). We stayed there for 3 days, it was really fun to spend some good time as a group, in those days we met much more. After being in Bariloche, we traveled

A country I would like to visit

In this first post, I would like to talk about one of my favorite countries. That country is New Zealand and I want to visit it for various reasons. One of the main reasons is the education system it has, because in my opinion, the education is one of the most important factors for a country and his society to function properly. New Zealand has a high level of economic, social and cultural development thanks to the excellent quality of its education system. The education system in this country consistently appears at the top of the OCDE international measurements. The country has a mixed education system, meaning that there is public education (free) and private education (paid). According to data provided by the OCDE, 96% of primary school pupils attend public schools and 85% in secondary education do so. All this is made possible by the country's high investment in education, which is one of the highest in OCDE countries. Because approximately 15% of the New
